Still a Sellers Market September 2025

As we shift seasons, we are starting to see the real estate market pickup again after a quiet August. I will get straight to the point- it is still a sellers market despite what the national news is saying. Westchester and Fairfield counties are still seeing inventory fly- especially at purchases under 1.2M.

The good news for buyers- some properties are sitting longer… especially in the higher priced ranges. If you are willing to go after a home that needs a little love via updates, you can actually go in and get it. We aren’t seeing those ones go at highest and best nearly as often. So let’s get this party started. This could be the perfect storm if you are selling and buying!

Fall is also the season of Galas, and a lot of not for profits are needing your support now more than ever. Do me a favor, even if you can’t attend one this fall, make a donation. We are trying to do it quarterly- but any amount is appreciated. Even if it is just donating a pack of diapers.

Speaking of diapers- thank you to everyone who came to our Yoga in the Garden event. It was so wonderful connecting with all of you. We are able to take a car load of diapers and wipes to 914 Cares as well. YAY!!

Stay tuned for upcoming events… I have my eye on a party mid Nov. Stay tuned.

Have a great rest of September!

I get this question all the time from new clients: "Jess, I'm moving to Westchester, but I'm worried about finding my people. How do I build community here?" My answer is always the same: You have to show up. Here's the beautiful thing about Westchester – this county practically rolls out the red carpet for connection.

When you think of New York, your mind immediately goes to towering skyscrapers, bustling streets, and the relentless energy of the city that never sleeps. But I want to challenge that narrow perception entirely. Instead of concrete and steel, picture rolling farmland.
