From Construction Sites to Dream Homes

Growing up as a contractor's daughter, I was immersed in the world of construction and renovation from day one. While other kids were playing house with dolls, I was learning about foundation repair, watching walls come down, and seeing spaces transform from the ground up. Those early experiences taught me to see beyond what exists and envision what could be—a skill that would prove invaluable in my real estate career.

A Journey Across the Country

My journey has taken me from the red rocks of Southern Utah to the tree-lined streets of the Northeast. Each move opened my eyes to different architectural styles, community cultures, and ways of living. But it was when I arrived in New York and Connecticut that something clicked. I fell head over heels for the charm and character of homes here—the historic colonials with their stories etched in every beam, the modern builds that seamlessly blend with century-old neighborhoods, and the way each property seems to have its own personality.

More Than Just Real Estate

With a background in real estate investment and my former role as a LEED AP with the US Green Building Council, I don't just see properties—I see potential, legacy, and the way a home can shape a lifestyle. My investment experience taught me to analyze numbers and market trends, while my LEED certification deepened my understanding of sustainable building practices and energy efficiency. But perhaps most importantly, my own moves across the country have given me firsthand experience of what it feels like to start over in a new place, to search for that perfect home where your family can thrive.

Understanding the Real Estate Journey

I know how overwhelming real estate decisions can feel, especially when you're balancing family life, career goals, and dreams of the future. The pressure to make the "right" choice can be paralyzing. Should you renovate or relocate? Is this neighborhood right for your kids? Will this investment appreciate over time? These questions keep you up at night, and I get it—because I've been there too.

But your next move doesn't have to be stressful. When you work with someone who understands both the emotional and financial significance of your decision, the process becomes collaborative rather than overwhelming.

My Approach to Real Estate

I combine deep market knowledge with a clear understanding of your goals to guide you in making thoughtful, confident choices that build long-term wealth and a life you love. Whether you're a first-time homebuyer nervous about taking the plunge, a growing family needing more space, or an investor looking to expand your portfolio, I'm here to translate market data into actionable insights that align with your vision.

My contractor's eye helps me spot potential issues before they become expensive surprises, while my investment background ensures we're thinking strategically about your long-term financial picture. Most importantly, my experience as someone who has moved across the country multiple times means I understand that buying a home isn't just about square footage and school districts—it's about finding a place where your story can unfold.

This time of year, my favorite places to visit are Harvest Moon and Outhouse Orchards . Have the donuts, find the pumpkins… have the cider for sure at Harvest Moon, and don’t skip the pumpkin cheesecake to go. It is delightful. As the leaves fall- enjoy the crunch, cover your garden beds, and let nature take it’s course. It is good for the environment, and will yield incredible garden results. This is also the time to start taking your plants inside or covering them if you are trying to help them survive the winter. See tips HERE. As for Real Estate… the market is shifting. We are entering a more neutral market. This means we are starting to see inventory stick around. Homes aren’t flying in a weekend- unless they are underpriced or an incredible deal. The important thing- you need a good agent regardless of wether you are buying or selling. Sellers can still clean up if things are done well, and buyers can find a deal if working with the right person. It is anyone’s market for the taking! If you have read all the way through… you get inside info. I am planning an event- so save the date- December 4.
