A Night at Cabbage Hill Farm

There's something different about sitting down to a meal made entirely from food raised just steps away. That's the experience at Cabbage Hill Farm, a sprawling 280-acre property in Mount Kisco that's quickly becoming one of Westchester's most special destinations.

From Brooklyn to the Farm

Three years ago, Mackensie and Tyler Moeller made a leap most people only dream about. They left their careers in finance and software, along with the fast pace of Brooklyn, and traded it all for a slower, more meaningful, community-centered life on the farm. What they've built since is nothing short of inspiring.

Life on 280 Acres

Cabbage Hill is now home to a thriving mix of animals, including 40 ewes, 75 lambs, 4 rams, 25 cows, 5 horses, and 100 chickens laying beautifully colored rainbow eggs.

Every animal on the property is fed soy-free grains, a detail that speaks to the intention behind everything happening there.

Walking the property before dinner, taking in the scale and care put into every corner of the farm, made the meal that followed even more meaningful.

A True Farm-to-Table Meal

Sitting down to an exquisite dinner made entirely with food raised right on the property brought the whole experience full circle. Every bite carried the story of the land it came from, and of the people who chose to build a different kind of life around it.

What's Next for Cabbage Hill

The farm recently launched a meal delivery service, bringing seasonal meals made with food grown and raised on the property directly to the community.

Westchester needs more spaces like this. Cabbage Hill isn't just a farm, it's quickly becoming a community hub, and it's exciting to think about what it will grow into next.

When people search for a home, they usually focus on square footage, layout, or the kitchen. But after years of helping families find the right place in Westchester and Fairfield County, I can tell you the real game-changer isn't the house itself — it's the community around it.

What a whirlwind since I last checked in! For everyone who came out to any (or all!) of the events this spring, thank you for your magic — you truly made them special. As we jump headfirst into summer, I wanted to share a quick market update with you all.

Every week, I sit down with Fairfield County sellers who are ready to move, but hesitant to list. And when we dig into why, it's rarely about the market or the timing. It's the unknown.
