2026 Kicks Off with Lower Rates and New Opportunities
Wanted to pop on with some great news… For the first time in THREE YEARS, Interest rates are now under 6%!! The Fed is signaling we will see another series of drops this year. My hope is- eventually- we will be closer to 5% at some point. Fingers crossed it’s soon.
What does that mean? Well, it means that there will be a lot more buyers come into the market. It may also start motivating sellers who are ready to upsize or downsize. Regardless of buying or selling, a plan is important. I have been honored to meet with so many of you (and your friends… thanks for those referrals) on your real estate goals. I can’t wait to see how they pay off!
If you are thinking of re-financing… I would wait a little longer. Your time is coming soon though, so start prepping!

I've had a lot of conversations with buyers over the years, and there's a pattern I see almost every time.
They find a house they love. Beautiful kitchen, great yard, perfect layout. They can already picture their furniture in it.
There's a quiet truth nobody talks about enough: making friends after 40 is hard. Not impossible — just hard. Life gets full. Schedules get tight. And somewhere between school pickups, work deadlines, and keeping up with everything else, building new friendships quietly falls off the list.
